Paint War

Seth walked up to Gene who were staring at the white uncolored wall with a frown.

“So have you decided which color you want to paint?” Gene shoot a interested look at Seth with his question.

“Yes, I‘ve chosen and I‘ve already bought it so we can start any time now”, Seth said with a smirk.

“Alright, so which color is it?” Seth smiled brightly and shouted the answer up in the air.

“Yellow!!”

One second of quiet passed… two second of quiet passed and Seth wondered why he didn’t get any reaction. Ten seconds later Gene scowled at him.

“Yellow? You bought yellow to paint our living room with?!” he asked with disbelief in his voice.

“What?! What‘s wrong with yellow?”

“What‘s wrong with it?! What‘s right with it?”

“Hey! Yellow is a good color”, Seth said with a glare.

“Are you kidding me?! It‘s frickin yellow!”

“So?”

“So?! Well first it‘s yellow!” Seth rolled his eyes at Gene’s answer. “And second it‘s too bright! It‘s going to burn our eyes out!”

“Well maybe just yours, emo-kid”, Seth mumbled and Gene turned to him.

“What?!”

“Well yeah, it‘s bright but it‘s a happy color, people like happy colors we can‘t just go emo-Gene on ever-y-thing”, Seth said while pronouncing the last word slowly.

“Emo-Gene?! That is so not true!”

“Dude, your bedroom is black”

“So?!”

“And you listen to dark and loud music”

“Your point being?”

“You actually don‘t see it?” Seth stated disbelieving.

“What, I don‘t call you a frickin moron just because you don‘t get every right on a quiz!”

“…yeah you do”

“…oh… well who wouldn‘t now the capital of France!”

“I thought it said the capital of Frazece!”

“… there is no country called that!”

“You see my problem?”

“.. moron”

“Oh you are so dead!”

2 hours later

Maya and Ashley enters Seth and Gene’s apartment.

“Hey guys! Are you finish with the painting?” Maya asked with a smile as she walked in to the living room, but stopped dead in her track when she saw the whole room splashed with bright yellow spots. Ashley who had walked in right after Maya gasped.

“What happened?” she exclaimed when she also saw the room and turned her question to the boys who laid on the floor breathing heavily with yellow paint on them.

“He started it”, Seth grunted out as he tried to sit up.

“I did not! You started it!”

“Wow, I didn‘t know you were going to paint it like this, it is so cool!”, Maya yelled with sparkling eyes and jumped around as she examined the walls in joy. Ashley sighed and her head meet with her hand.

Seth and Gene follow Maya with there eyes for a second before they then glared at each other and then closed there eyes in exhaustion.

“This is so cool! Ashley can‘t we also-” Maya started to say only to have Ashley cut her sentence with a scream.

“NO!”
